Athletistic/ MMA. American mixed martial arts fighter Chris Curtis has criticized the judges’ decision of the bout between Russian Peter Yan and American Sean O’Malley that O’Malley won by split decision.
“Still very upset that they sacrificed Petr Yan’s career for O’Malley. It’s so disrespectful,” Curtis wrote on one of the social networks.
The fight between Peter Yan and Sean O’Malley took place on October 22 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as part of the UFC 280 tournament. According to the verdict of the judges, O’Malley defeated Yan with a score of 29- 28, 29-28, 28-29. Despite this, many fighters, MMA analysts and fans are convinced that the victory should have gone to the Russian.
