“It’s hype, of course. But I would love to watch this fight. Where Conor McGregor is, it’s always interesting there,” Kharitonov said.
On October 22, at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, Islam Makhachev defeated Brazilian Charles Oliveira by submission (manual triangle) in the second round of the fight and won the UFC lightweight championship belt. Makhachev now has 23 wins and 1 loss in professional MMA.
Conor McGregor has 22 wins and 6 losses in mixed martial arts. Conor last fought on July 11, 2021 at UFC 264 with American Dustin Poirier.
