Athletistic/ Boxing. Russian mixed martial arts fighter Pyotr Yan has congratulated Islam Makhachev on his victory at the UFC 280 tournament.
In the main event of the event, Islam proved to be stronger than Brazilian Charles Oliveira and won the lightweight title.
Peter Yan himself also performed at the tournament. His opponent was Briton Sean O’Malley, who won by split decision (29-28, 29-28 and 28-29), despite losing to Yan on all key statistical points. The loss was Petr Yan’s third in the last four UFC bouts. In total, he has 16 victories in MMA including four failures.
