Athletistic/ MMA. Dagestani-born British fighter Muhammad Mokaev has spoken about his attitude towards Rustam Khabilov, who was one of the first Russian fighters to sign a contract with the UFC promotion.
“Rustam” Tiger “Khabilov is the one I followed when I was growing up. I am very proud that he is in my corner,” Mokaev wrote on one of the social networks.
Khabilov helped Mokaev into the corner at UFC 280, which took place Oct. 22 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. At this tournament, Mokaev defeated Canadian Malcolm Gordon by submission (armbar) in the third round. Muhammad has 9 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws in professional mixed martial arts.
Rustam Khabilov has won 24 times and lost 4 times during his professional MMA career. From 2012 to 2020, Khabilov performed under the auspices of the UFC promotion. On October 2, 2020, the fighter signed a contract with sports organization Bellator, but has yet to fight there.
