A well -known promoter commented on the British boxer’s announcement about his retirement.

Tyson Fury really wants to retire from professional boxing. This was said by WBC heavyweight champion co-promoter Bob Arum.

Commenting on his ward’s recent statement, in which the Briton announced he intended to end his career, the functionary said Fury could change his mind just for a big fight.

“Fury says a lot of things and I believe he’s doing it sincerely. You know he refused to sign a new contract. He’s the one with the last against the contract, you know what I’m getting at? I think he wants to see what happens For example, if he is offered to fight Joshua or Usyk, then he can stay.

Tyson will not fight a minor opponent. If he is given another big fight, I think, he will accept it without hesitation. Otherwise, he won’t waste training time and money to fight some minor opponent.

Right now Tyson has a lot of money and wants to enjoy life with his wife and children, ”Arum told boxingscene.com.

It will be recalled that on April 23, Tyson Fury will fight Dillian Whyte. After that, Fury will end his professional career.
