Athletistic/ Boxing. Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev returned to the professional ring after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus and defeated his opponent, Bulgarian Tervel Pulev.
Sergei won by unanimous decision. For Kovalev, who previously competed in the light heavyweight division, the fight with Pulev was his first heavyweight division debut.
During his career in professional boxing, Kovalev fought 40 fights, 35 of which he celebrated a victory, was defeated 4 times, and another fight with his participation ended in a draw.
For Tervel Pulev, Kovalev’s loss was the first of his career. Before that, he had won 16 fights.
