The WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion of the world spoke about being proud of the country.

Oleksandr Usyk makes his country proud. According to the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF world champion, Ukraine has always fought for its independence and now proves that it is a real country.

“Modern, independent Ukraine has existed for more than 30 years, and all these years we have been fighting for something: for freedom, for the right to self-determination, for beliefs and values.

And they keep making things difficult for us. They say that we are no people, that there is no such country, that we have no right to anything. That Ukraine is an artificially invented country. This, of course, is complete nonsense.

But even if it is so, if we are made artificial, then we still exist. We are still there. There are over 40 million of us. It is impossible not to count one of the largest countries in Europe.

I am proud of everything my country has achieved, I am proud of Ukrainians. Being Ukrainian is an honor.

Where did all these great boxers come from? I think we just need it. God has sent us people to help us win. Who shows by example how to fight and how to win.

I wore many patriotic tattoos – the coat of arms of Ukraine, a map. The coat of arms was created in 2010, and the map appeared after the 2012 Olympics,” Interia said Usyk said.

Earlier, Alexander Usik said that if there is a fight for the title of absolute world champion, he will not knock out his opponent.
