The boxer’s town mayor’s office has decided to erect a monument in honor of the former world heavyweight champion.
Monument to Deontay Wilder. The monument will appear in the town of the American boxer – Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This was reported by the boxingscene publication.
The opening of the sculpture dedicated to the ex-world heavyweight champion is scheduled for May 25th.
“We are pleased to present the most anticipated piece of art depicting the champion boxer from Tuscaloosa.
It was created by Tuscaloosa township Caleb O’Connor and has created many other great works in our city, ”Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox said.
