Former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov praised his cousin on social media Usman Nurmagomedov with a victory over the Brazilian Patrick Freire and win the Bellator lightweight belt.
On Saturday night, Usman Nurmagomedov defeated Freire by decision at the Bellator 288 tournament in the United States.
– Congratulations, brother. You have worked hard and long for this. A very competent and dominant win, now it’s all just getting started,” Khabib wrote, attaching a file photo with Usman to the post.
Usman has 16 wins, he remains undefeated in the professional ring. Freire suffered his sixth loss with 34 wins.
