Usyk returned to the training process

In 2023, the Ukrainian should fight Tyson Fury

WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion – Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk returned to training.

A video from the training session of the Ukrainian boxer appeared on social networks. It is noted that this is Usyk’s first training session since the fight with Anthony Joshua.

In his last fight for the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title, Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.

Immediately after defeating Anthony in a rematch, Usyk challenged WBC champion Tyson Fury to a fight. Then the Ukrainian said that the fight against Fury in December is impossible.

Promoter Alexander Krasyuk said that the working date of the Usyk-Fury fight is February 18. Another promoter, Frank Warren, has said that the Ukrainian will be Fury’s next opponent after the Brit’s fight with Derek Chisora, which is scheduled for December 3.

The same thesis was confirmed by Tyson himself, who announced his readiness to fight the Ukrainian after the fight with Derek. In addition, the Gypsy King has announced three fights for 2023.

According to promoter Bob Arum, the duel between Usyk and Fury will take place in the last week of February, or in the first week of March. Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will be able to host the event.

In addition, the IBF ordered Usik to face the mandatory challenger, Croatian heavyweight Filip Hrgovic. The team of the Croatian boxer is already preparing for the confrontation with Alexander.
