Anthony’s fight is scheduled for late March or early April
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua his next fight will be in the spring of 2023.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that there will be official information about Anthony’s opponent in the near future. The fight is tentatively scheduled for late March or early April 2023.
In August, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
It was reported that AJ wants to enter the ring in the next fight with Dillian Whyte. The fight could take place if White wins over Jermain Franklin.
Anthony has been in talks with WBC champion Tyson Fury for a fight in late 2022. However, the parties could not agree on the final details of the contract, after which Joshua postponed his return to the ring until next year. At the same time, AJ is confident that the fight with Fury will be held.
Previously, the Briton planned to hold his next fight on December 17. Potential opponents were Otto Wallin and Chris Arreola.
