On Saturday, December 3, the fight for the European lightweight title Denis Berinchyk – Ivan Mendy online video broadcast of the fight can be seen in Ukraine. The fight between Berinchyk and Mendy will be shown live by the Megogo media service, which will broadcast a big boxing evening, the main event of which will be a heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora.
MEGOGO will show three fights: in addition to the fight between Mendy – Berinchyk and the main event, boxing fans will also have a fight between Daniel Dubois and Kevin Lerena. Vladimir Kobelkov, Valentin Litvinchuk and Alina Shaternikova will work in the studio and at the fights.
Berinchik – Mendy before the fight
Denis Berinchyk will hold his 17th and first duel since December last year. Berinchyk will fight outside of Ukraine only for the second time. And right away – at the 60,000th arena and as part of a really big boxing evening. For the first time outside our country, Denis fought five years ago – in his sixth fight, the Ukrainian in Hungary easily dealt with the Venezuelan Loresso Parra.
In the current situation, any fight is important for every Ukrainian boxer. The upcoming fight is, if not a step forward in Berinchyk’s career, then an opportunity to win the title, once again remind of himself and raise / maintain his tone. A possible victory over Mendy will not give the Ukrainian a significant advance in the ratings (according to an unspoken agreement or rules, usually the European champion gets a place in the TOP-15 of the rating), however, he is already quite high there, but he will add some recognition.
37-year-old Ivan Mendy is an experienced fighter who has 53 fights in the professional ring, against 17 for Berinchyk. The Frenchman won 47 fights (22 by knockout), one ended in a draw, five he lost. At the same time, it should be noted that Mendy was not knocked out in any of the lost fights, losing on points.
