Ukrainian is ready to fight for the title of absolute champion in London
WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk commented on his possible fight against the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
“I would love to come to London and box here. I have a lot of fans in London. But where the fight with Fury will be – only God knows. Fury vs Chisora? I don’t think anything about him, it was a good sparring.”
“I didn’t say anything to Tyson. I just looked into his crazy eyes. I really want my next fight to be against Fury. The whole world wants it. I don’t think I know I can beat him. I will fight for the title of absolute champion. I don’t think the IBF situation will affect that.”
We will remind, Usyk entered the ring to WBC champion Tyson Fury after his victory over Derek Chisora. The boxers had a duel of views.
Fury planned his next fight against Usyk in February-March 2023.
However, Fury’s injury could affect the timing of the fight with Usyk. Tyson injured his hand in a duel with Chisora. Recovery will take 6-8 weeks.
