The manager of the Ukrainian Egis Klimas said that negotiations for the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion are nearing completion.
According to the promoter of the Ukrainian, Alexander Krasyuk, now the parties are in the final part of the negotiations, during which they are discussing the venue of the fight. The fight could take place in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar or London.
In his last fight for the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title, Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.
