The promoter said that the parties have already agreed on all issues and documents are expected to be signed
Alexander Krasyukpromoter of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), said that all questions about the fight for the title of absolute world champion with the owner of the WBC belt Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) have been settled, and the Ukrainian side is waiting for documents to be signed.
“Probably, the contract is already ready, but we have not received the documents yet. But we are on our way to signing,” said the promoter.
Earlier, Krasyuk said that the most effective working date for the fight would be March 4. Also, the option of a rematch may be included in the fight contract.
Earlier, promoter Frank Warren said that in case of failure to organize a fight for the title of absolute world champion, the Ukrainian will have to defend against Daniel Dubois. The head of Top Rank, Bob Arum, said that Hrgovic would not interfere with the unification fight between Usyk and Fury, since Usyk’s next title defense should take place through the WBA line.
