Down-the-line.com/MMA. Kazakh lightweight Damir Ismagulov, who plays in the UFC, has announced his retirement. According to the athlete, he made the decision taking into account a number of factors, including health issues.

“Unfortunately, due to circumstances and health issues, I am forced to decide to end my sports career. I thank everyone who was next to me, whether I won or not. Who sincerely encouraged. It was a really interesting trip. This moment will forever be in my memory. Hugs to everyone,” Ismagulov wrote on social media.

Ismagulov hopes to break into the top 10 of the UFC rankings

Damir’s last opponent was the Russian Arman Tsarukyan. This fight ended with the victory of Tsarukyan by unanimous decision of the judges.

Ismagulov made his UFC debut in 2018. In total, he spent six fights in the promotion and won five.
