Tyson must decide on his future after Usyk-Joshua rematch
Promoter Alexander Krasyuk declared to be WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk calmly responded to the statement Tyson Fury about the end of a career.
Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion of the world, announced his retirement from boxing after his victory over Dillian Whyte in April. Krasyuk also expressed confidence that Tyson would still fight for the title of absolute champion.
“Because Alexander is a wise man, he did not react in any way to Fury’s statement. He did everything right, because if you take the latest information, Fury will decide on his future after the second fight between Usyk and Joshua, ”Krasyuk said.
“Naturally, the whole world wants to see a fight for the undisputed heavyweight title of the world, with four titles at stake. This has never happened before in history. These should be the world-class stars that we all talk about.”
“The result of the Joshua-Usyk fight will determine the second participant along with Fury. I am 90% sure that Fury will not retire and will fight for the undisputed world champion.”
The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua is scheduled for July 23. In the first fight, the Ukrainian won by unanimous decision and became the heavyweight world champion for the first time in his career.
