Teddy Atlas expressed his admiration for Ukrainians and said he has now found the answer to the question of why there are so many world boxing champions in Ukraine.
The renowned American coach, who has worked with Oleksandr Usyk in the past and led him to the WBC title in 2018, spoke to all of our people.
“I am Teddy Atlas and this is a message to the people from Ukraine. You are very special people, you are brave and proud. And now I understand why so many world champions have come to your country.
I also understand that people are fighting, fighting for their children, for their homes, for their country, for their right to choose their destiny in their own land, to live their lives where they should live here.
I know that these people – you, will never be defeated by an enemy who fights for profit, for some property, power and evil. We all feel your desire to win, your love for your country. We feel your devotion, we feel it.
