Only a fight with a winner can arouse Tyson’s interest
Promoter Bob Arum declared world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury must decide on his future after the rematch Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua is scheduled to take place on July 23 in the Middle East. In this fight, the Ukrainian will defend the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight championship belts for the first time.
“Fury will wait for the Usyk-Joshua fight and then decide if he wants to continue his career,” Arum said.
“Except for the duel with the winner [реванша Усик — Джошуа]Fury can’t be interested in anything anymore, so we’ll see.”
Fury announced his retirement from boxing after his victory over Dillian Whyte in April. Subsequently, Tyson said that even a possible fight against Usyk for the title of absolute world champion would not make him return to the ring.
In turn, the wife of boxer Fury, Paris, suggested that Tyson could have a last fight with the winner of the rematch between Usyk and Joshua.
