American blogger Jake Paul, who rose to fame in the sport through boxing fights, has signed a contract with the PFL mixed martial arts league. He told the publication The New York Times .
The exact date of Paul’s first fight in MMA is still unknown, but in the future he plans to combine mixed martial arts with boxing.
“It’s about creating a major new league, innovation and global change in mixed martial arts,” Paul said.
The blogger has had six fights in boxing. In his last fight, he defeated former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva by unanimous decision.
