Warren: Fury already has a plan for the year, I don’t see a place for Joshua in it

Tyson is angry with the time he wasted last fall

Frank Warren, British promoter of the WBC World Championship Tyson Furysaid that he did not see the possibility of a duel between his ward and the ex-world champion Anthony Joshua this year. The promoter believes that Joshua’s team was never serious about fighting the Gypsy King.

“He didn’t have a coach, so how was he going to fight? He is clearly looking for a coach. Maybe he found it, I have no idea. I really don’t care, to be honest. We have a plan for next year.”

“The obvious question is whether Joshua will figure in these plans. Actually, I can’t imagine it now. Tyson is busy with his next couple of fights, that’s for sure. He was a little pissed that we wasted time [с Джошуа]”.

“So we are where we are with this. But if Joshua wants to fight Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois, we’ll do it in no time.”

Tyson Fury is preparing to fight for the title of absolute world champion with the holder of the WBA / WBO / IBF / IBO titles Alexander Usyk. Promoter Alexander Krasyuk said that the most effective working date for the fight is March 4th.

Warren said that the fight between Usyk and Fury could include a rematch clause. The date of the fight may be affected by the injury of the Briton, received in a duel with Derek Chisora.
