13 Ukrainians to perform in Yerevan
Team of Ukraine has decided on the list of athletes who will represent the country at the 2022 European Boxing Championships.
At competitions in Yerevan 13 Ukrainians will perform:
- 48 kg – Andrey Tishkovets (Lviv region);
- 51 kg – Dmitry Zamotaev (Zaporozhye region);
- 54 kg – Elmir Nabiev (Nikolaev region);
- 57 kg – Mikhail Dzyazko (Kyiv);
- 60 kg – Yuriy Shestak (Kharkiv region);
- 63.5 kg – Yaroslav Khartsiz (Kharkiv region);
- 67 kg – Viktor Petrov (Ternopil region);
- 71 kg – Yuri Zakhareev (Odessa region);
- 75 kg – Ivan Papakin (Kyiv region);
- 80 kg – Ivan Sapun (Kyiv)
- 86 kg – Sergey Gorskov (Kharkiv region);
- 92 kg – Robert Marton (Kharkiv region);
- +92 kg – Dmitry Lovchinsky (Kyiv region).
Head coach Leonid Loivsky will lead the national team in Yerevan.
The European Championship starts today, May 21, and will last until the 31st.
At the previous European Championship, which was held as part of the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Ukrainians took second place in the overall medal standings with four awards (two gold).
