Athletistic/ Boxing. Russian mixed martial artist, current UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has named his favorite MMA fighter.
“My favorite fighter is Frankie Edgar. He beat a lot of tough guys. Edgar was always small and always beat big guys,” Makhachev said in an interview with Saffan Akhmedmia.
Frankie Edgar became UFC lightweight champion in 2010 with a unanimous decision over BJ Penn, after which he made three successful title defenses.
On the night of February 12, Makhachev will make his first title defense in a duel with Alex Volkanovski.
