Anthony will be training in the USA
Promoter Eddie Hearn stated that the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua soon will announce the name of the new coachand the next the fight will take place in April this year.
“I know who the new coach is, but I won’t say. Actually, this is Anthony’s private matter. I think the fighter should announce it himself. Personally, I am satisfied with the coach. I am happy with anyone who makes AJ feel comfortable, motivated and excited.”
“He is going to train in America and is going to start camp next week. The problem is that in the UK he is not allowed to pass. When he goes to America, it’s like a different world.”
“The scheduled date for our fight in London is April 1st. I’ll go over the final list of opponents again. We’re almost ready to choose.”
Deontay Wilder’s trainer, Malik Scott, has revealed that 40-year-old American Gerald Washington could be Joshua’s next opponent.
Hearn previously revealed that Joshua would fight his next fight in March-April. Joshua himself said that he wants to enter the ring in the next fight with Dillian Whyte.
