Russian boxer trainer Dmitry Bivol Vadim Kornilov is recognized as the best manager of 2022 by the World Boxing Association (WBA), according to the organization’s website.
Previously, the WBA recognized Bivol as the best boxer of the past year. Another Kornilov boxer, Uzbek Murodjon Akhmadaliev is the WBA and IBF super bantamweight champion.
On January 10, WBA (Super) light heavyweight champion Bivol became the first Russian boxer to be named the Boxing Writers Association of America’s (BWAA) Best Boxer of 2022.
