Broadcast on Madison Square Garden will be paid
Undisputed Lightweight Champion Devin Haney announced the next fight with a paid broadcast around the world. It is expected that this will be a duel with a Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenkowhich will be held May 20 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Earlier, promoter Bob Arum said that the Haney-Lomachenko fight is planned to take place in mid-March. The fight could take place in the Middle East, Las Vegas or New York.
Lomachenko defeated American Jemaine Ortiz in his last fight. For the Ukrainian, this was the first and only fight for 10 months.
In October, Haney defeated George Kambosos again and retained the WBC, WBA Super, IBF and WBO lightweight titles. Devin has repeatedly stated his readiness to face Lomachenko in the ring.
