Roman Kopylov will sign a new contract with the UFC

Russian middleweight Roman Kopylov who asked UFC management to extend his contract with him, will sign a new agreement.

In an interview with , this information was confirmed by Kopylov’s manager, Alexander Skaredin. The fact that Kopylov had the last fight under the current contract was said by the fighter himself in a post-fight interview with Puanele Soriano in Las Vegas. The Russian fighter won by technical knockout in the second round and, in a post-fight interview, turned to UFC management with a request to give him the opportunity to continue playing.

As the Russian’s manager told , this fight was the last under the current deal, but UFC matchmakers were happy with Kopylov’s performance and would extend the contract with the Russian fighter. So far, Kopylov has fought four fights in the UFC: he lost in 2019 and 2021 and won two fights in 2022 and 2023.
