Russian middleweight Roman Kopylov who asked UFC management to extend his contract with him, will sign a new agreement.
In an interview with , this information was confirmed by Kopylov’s manager, Alexander Skaredin. The fact that Kopylov had the last fight under the current contract was said by the fighter himself in a post-fight interview with Puanele Soriano in Las Vegas. The Russian fighter won by technical knockout in the second round and, in a post-fight interview, turned to UFC management with a request to give him the opportunity to continue playing.
As the Russian’s manager told , this fight was the last under the current deal, but UFC matchmakers were happy with Kopylov’s performance and would extend the contract with the Russian fighter.
