“I will ask the manager to arrange a boxing fight with Ngannou” – Alexander Emelianenko

Russian Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) Alexander Emelianenko told he would ask the manager to arrange a fight under boxing rules with Cameroon’s former UFC champion Francois Ngannou .

On Sunday, UFC chief Dana White said Ngannou had vacated the heavyweight title and could “fight anywhere” as the sides failed to agree on a new contract. Ngannou has been playing in the UFC since 2015, in the championship he has won 12 times with two losses. The Cameroonian won the heavyweight title in March 2021 in a fight with Stipe Miocic. The Cameroonian managed to hold a defense against Cyril Gan.

– Obviously, Ngannou was unhappy with the terms offered by the UFC, just like Fedor (Emelianenko) was unhappy with the terms at one point. If there is an opportunity to make 10 million, why sign a contract for a million? Look at boxer fees, and boxing prep is easier than MMA prep. There are at least three disciplines within MMA, including boxing. Therefore, if Ngannou can earn much more in boxing, he does everything well. Now that my manager (Nikita Burchak) is negotiating a fight in the United Arab Emirates, I will ask him to arrange a boxing match with Ngannou,” Emelianenko Jr. told .

In September, Emelianenko lost in the first round to Vyacheslav Datsik in an exhibition boxing match.
