ACA Vice President Aslanbek Badaev told MMA.Metaratings.ru that he sees no point in his league taking over another major promotion, AMC Fight Nights.
— I see no logic in buying AMC Fight Nights. Will explain. First, the league is more dependent on Kamil Gadzhiev than Gadzhiev is on the league. If there’s no Camila, that’s not it. The second point concerns the fighters. If they were automatically transferred to us, that would make sense, but the guys don’t have a Fight Nights contract at all. They built it all on a handshake with Kamil. The third point, if you could take Fight Nights social media and add a million to our million, that would also make sense. And so? There is nothing that would give us an advantage,” Badaev said.
Earlier, Kamil Hajiyev said negotiations are underway between leagues owners Mairbek Khasiev and Amir Muradov to buy AMC Fight Nights.
