“Maybe he’ll kiss all the rounds” – Bivol on potential fight with blogger Jake Paul

WBA Champion Dmitry Bivol thinks blogger Jake Paul can last a few rounds against him in a boxing match.

In an interview with , Bivol said he was not yet considering a possible fight against the blogger, even under good financial conditions. At the moment, Bivol is focused on fighting against professional boxers, and among the Russian’s possible rivals are Artur Beterbiev or Saul Alvarez.

Jake Paul has long been known as a YouTuber, but the 27-year-old American now fights under boxing rules with former MMA fighters. Since 2021, Paul has beaten former Bellator champion Ben Askren and UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva to take his professional fight record to six wins in six fights.

How would your fight with Jake Paul go according to you?

– I do not even know. I didn’t watch his fights. I don’t even see how this could happen in the near future.

– So you can even imagine some kind of equal fight?

– I do not know. I don’t know how he boxes. Maybe he’ll start running, or maybe he’ll attack.

– To clarify, can you imagine former blogger Jake Paul going four rounds against you?

– Why not? Maybe that’s good. It also depends on my preparedness. Maybe he’ll kiss all the rounds or run away from me there.

– If you were offered the same amount as an opponent of good status, would you accept such a fight?

– So far, no one has offered me anything for this fight, and it doesn’t even exist in my head. I have other tasks, I did not even mentally open this option.

– At the same time, Jake Paul himself said that he resembled you in style. What do you think about it?

“Maybe he saw something that he too can do like me. A few little moments.

– Would the weight count for you in such a fight?

– Again, I did not even open such an option in my head. I am a professional boxer.

Bivol’s boxing stat is 21-0 with 11 wins by stoppage. Bivol holds the WBA light heavyweight belt (up to 79.4 kg).
