The British boxer team has announced new dates for the fight for the title of absolute world champion.
The date of the possible fight for the title of the absolute world heavyweight champion Usyk – Fury has changed. Recall, earlier it was reported that the battle should take place in late February – early March.
Now, however, according to the British boxer’s promoter Frank Warren, the date has been pushed back a month.
“We have come a long way, but there are some things we need to work on.
We’re trying to get to the point where we can announce it as soon as we all think it’s going to happen.
We expect some offers this week, but none of them have come in yet, and then Tyson has to make a decision.
Hopefully it will happen at the end of March, beginning of April, which is what we’re looking at now.
So, fingers crossed, we will agree on this date, but it will definitely happen,” said Warren of talkSPORT.
Note that earlier the promoters of the British boxer put a new requirement, which could interfere with the Usyk-Fury fight.
