Coach Deontay Wilder did not consider the British boxer as a real favorite to fight for the title of absolute champion.

Malik Scott doesn’t consider Tyson Fury the absolute favorite in a possible fight with Alexander Usik.

According to coach Deontay Wilder, the dimensions of the WBC title holder may not play a decisive role, and the skills of the opponents will be decisive in the fight.

In addition, he expressed the desire that the winner of this fight met with his ward.

“Honestly, I just want this fight to happen and Deontay Wilder fight the winner.

Opponents 50/50 chance? I do not think so. I bet if I asked you why Fury would beat Usyk, you would say it was because of his size. I think this fight will depend more on boxing skills than size.

Size can be dealt with appropriately if you know how to deal with it, but I think this fight will come down to real skill. Usyk needs to hit and Fury is high. Especially when you hit a good southpaw,” Boxing News 24 quoted Scott as saying.

Remember, earlier it was known that the date of the possible fight between Usyk and Fury was moved by one month.
