Mayor of Kyiv, former WBC and WBO heavyweight champion, Vitaliy Klichko awarded the former Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson title Honorary citizen of the city of Kyiv.
“I talked in Davos with a great friend of Ukraine, Boris Johnson. We had the opportunity to present him with an award from the Ukrainian capital – the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Kyiv. The city council approved the decision to assign it at the end of November last year.”
“Boris has repeatedly visited the Ukrainian capital, both in peaceful times and in the most dramatic time of our struggle against the Russian aggressor. As Prime Minister of Great Britain, Johnson did everything possible to help Ukraine. And he continues to support us and convince the civilized world of the necessary support.”
He presented the award to Boris at the Ukrainian House in Davos during the traditional World Economic Forum.
Earlier, Klitschko received an encouragement from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny.
Ukraine is opposing the military aggression of the Russian Federation for the 330th day.
