The promoter of the WBC heavyweight champion of the world said how negotiations are going on arranging the fight.

Bob Arum reported problems in arranging the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

According to the promoter of the WBC world champion, at the moment one problem remains unresolved – the place of the fight. However, the functionary is confident that this will be resolved in the near future.

“I am very optimistic that the fight will take place. both fighters have agreed to fight. The only question is the location of the fight. We are negotiating with the Middle East, as they are supposed to offer the biggest fee in the history of boxing. If it happens, the fight will take place there because money is money. If not, the two fighters will agree to fight at Wembley in the spring. But in my opinion, the fight will definitely take place within the first four months of this year .

Fighters want the best conditions for themselves, because a boxing career, no matter how good you are, is limited. Therefore, they want to earn as much money as possible.

So that leaves one problem – where will the fight take place? I believe that next week we will decide on this, and then there will be an official announcement of the date and location of the match. But this fight will take place,” Arum was quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Earlier it became known that the date of the duel between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury was postponed.
