“Today is definitely not the last Fight Nights tournament” – Kamil Gadzhiev

Promoter Kamil Gadzhiev intends to hold several more Fight Nights tournaments, despite news of the promotion’s possible sale.

As Russian promoter Kamil Gadzhiev told , the Fight Nights league, founded by Gadzhiev with a group of like-minded people several years ago, could be sold to Mairbek Khasiev (the founder of the DIA league , later ASA), but in 2023 Gadzhiev will hold several more tournaments.

– This is definitely not the last (about the January 20 tournament). We generally agreed with Amir [текущий собственник промоушена]that whatever decision they make with Mairbeck, we will achieve what we have planned for the moment, and at the last event, when we know when it will be, we will make a good noise. To end it,” Gadzhiev said.

The Fight Nights League has been running tournaments for about 10 years; Fedor Emelianenko, Alexander Shlemenko and Andrey Orlovsky performed at promotional events. In 2019 businessman Amir Muradov became the owner of the league. At the end of 2022, rumors circulated about a possible sale of the promotion to the ASA league.
