Australian Tim Tszyu In March, he will face American Tony Harrison for the title of interim world champion at the first middleweight according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO), reports ESPN.
The fight will take place on March 12 in one of the cities of Australia.
In December, the fight between Tszyu and Jermall Charlo for the title of absolute world champion was postponed due to an injury to the American. Charlo reportedly broke his left arm during practice.
If Tszyu defeats Harrison, he will face Charlo later in 2023 for four junior middleweight titles once the American receives medical clearance. If Charlo fails to defend himself within the time limit set by the organization, he will be stripped of the WBO title, which will then be awarded to the interim champion.
Tim Tszyu is the son of former Russian boxer Konstantin Tszyu. His professional record is 21 wins (15 by KO) and no losses. Harrison has 29 wins, three losses and a draw.
