Tim Tszyu explains why he decided to face Harrison after failing to fight Charlo

Australian representative Tim Tszyu said that at the current stage of his career he is ready to fight with any boxer.

In December, the fight between Tszyu and Jermall Charlo for the title of absolute world champion was postponed due to an injury to the American. Charlo reportedly broke his left arm during practice. It was later announced that Tszyu would fight American Tony Harrison for the interim world middleweight title according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO). The fight will take place on March 12 in one of the cities of Australia.

In every fight you engage in, everything hangs in the balance. You’re one shot away from going back to the bottom. It’s play, but it’s my job. It’s boxing. This is part of my career and I am above all a fighter.

Harrison was the second best option available. I’m at a point in my career where I don’t care who’s in front of me. I am ready to defeat them all, — quotes the words of Tszyu BoxingScene.

Tim Tszyu is the son of former Russian boxer Konstantin Tszyu. His professional record is 21 wins (15 by KO) and no losses. Harrison has 29 wins, three losses and a draw.
