Tyson again said that Usyk is a “small” boxer
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury once again doubted that the holder of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO titles Oleksandr Usyk physically ready to fight him.
“Looking at how Usyk comes out of the pool the other day, I think he needs to do something physically different to get into the ring with Tyson.”
“We could put boxing gloves on my wife Paris and let her fight him based on how he looks now. They are about the same size. To be honest, I think Paris has broader shoulders. He’s no good with a body like that. He looked terrible, like he hadn’t eaten in three months.”
Tyson is invincible. The gypsy king conquered the whole world. Having beaten one Ukrainian, he will beat another. Tyson is already great, he beat Wilder, Klitschko, and all the rest of the best boxers. He is unbeatable in 33 fights and no one has ever come close to beating him.”
“You have to be under two meters tall, have 120 kilograms of muscle and a heart the size of your body. If you don’t have these things, don’t mess with the Gypsy King. Usyk is a good techie, a good little boxer, but Tyson is a good big boxer who can do everything better than him.”
“I saw enough when Usyk fought Joshua to know he had no chance against Tyson.”
According to promoter Frank Warren, the Usyk-Fury fight is scheduled for late March – early April. According to promoter Bob Arum, the date and place of the fight should be determined next week.
Warren also said that the duel between the Ukrainian and the British could include a revenge clause.
And Bob Arum claims that Usyk wants an equal distribution of income between boxers in a unification fight with Fury.
