Australian fighter of Macedonian descent Alex Volkanovski (25-1) told why he took pictures and trained multiple times with Chechen Republic fighters Mairbek Taysumov and brothers Hussein and Khasan Askhabov.
Volkanovski took a joint photo with the fighters in the hall in Thailand, where the UFC champion was training for the fight against Islam Makhachev on February 12.
“I trained several times with Mayrbek and the Askhabov brothers in Thailand,” Volkanovski told . – It was great. We get along very well with them. They are very strong wrestlers, so when I was about to go to Thailand and they were there, we trained with them again. I was happy to see them.

Makhachev and Volkanovski will meet at UFC 284 in Perth, Australia on February 12.
