Conor McGregor accused of assaulting woman in Ibiza

Irishman Conor McGregor, controversial MMA fighter, is accused of assaulting a woman in Ibiza after celebrating his birthday on his private yacht

This Tuesday, the 24th, Conor McGregor he was once again the center of attention, but this time for a completely negative reason. The fighter is under investigation for an alleged case of aggression against a woman aboard his yacht in Ibiza, Spain. According to theMajorca Daily Bulletin”, the accusation concerns a case that happened during a birthday party of the Irishman.

According to the report, the victim claims to know McGregor for being the fighter’s neighbor in Dublin, Ireland. From what was heard from the woman, the athlete began to insult her, talking badly about her appearance. Then he attacked her with a kick and a punch, in addition to threatening that he would drown her.

“It was like he was possessed. I knew I had to get off the boat because I thought he was going to kill me. I can’t believe what he did to me. He’s a criminal. I think he would have killed me if I hadn’t gotten off the yacht.”said the victim in her statement.

To get away from the fighter, the woman said she had to jump off the yacht, off the island of Formentera. A Red Cross boat rescued her and brought her safely back to shore. The statement was made only to the Irish police, after his return from the trip. The incident took place on July 16, 2022.

Unfortunately, McGregor is already known for his attitudes outside the octagon, in addition to all the controversy that surrounds him when he fights. At the end of 2018, the fighter was under investigation for sexual assault and was arrested in 2022, in the city of Dublin, for six traffic violations. So far, the Irishman’s representative has stated that the client denies all allegations.
