The British heavyweight boxer noted the peculiarities of the Ukrainian preparation for the title fight.
Interim WBO heavyweight champion Joe Joyce believes Oleksandr Usyk has decided to take a new tactic for the Tyson Fury fight.
The British boxer assessed the current form of the WBA, WBO and IBF title holder.
According to Joyce, the Ukrainian decided to cut weight to be faster and stronger in a duel with the WBC champion.
“Yes, he looks fit. Good. Looks healthy and strong. The softness is swimming, so his stamina seems to be good.
Maybe he wants to be smaller to increase his speed. Usyk probably gained weight to get stronger, but I don’t know if this power is effective. So maybe he just wants to be fast,” Joyce was quoted as saying by Boxing Social.
It will be remembered that the fight between Fury and Usyk should take place in the first half of this year.
Earlier, Usyk showed his diet to the British boxer, leaving a message.
