AJ decided to change coach after losing to Ukrainian in first fight
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua will prepare for a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk under the direction of Robert Garcia.
The Englishman decided to change coaches after losing to Usyk in the first fight for which he was trained by Robert McCracken.
In addition to Garcia, Joshua also considered collaborations with Eddie Reynoso, Virgil Hunter and Ronnie Shields.
Robert Garcia has trained many famous boxers including former world champions Fernando Vargas, Antonio Margarito, Mikey Garcia, Marcos Maidana, Victor Ortiz and Kelly Pavlik.
Joshua and Usyk’s rematch is set to take place on July 23 in the Middle East. Last fall, AJ lost the WBA, WBO and IBF championship belts to the Ukrainian.
