ACA Welterweight Champion Vitaly Slipenko told MMA.Metaratings.ru that he plans to hold the next fight in April-May.
– So far, I have no information about the next fight. I just treated the wound. Now the training process will begin. There will already be a systematic training camp in Moscow. There is no news from the opponent yet. Everything will be revealed as well as the Grand Prix grid. Not necessarily my opponent should be exactly Albert Tumenov. Maybe someone else. My return is scheduled for April-May,” Slipenko said.
Slipenko became the ACA Welterweight Champion by defeating Abubakar Vagaev on December 16, 2022. The match ended with Vitaliy winning by knockout in the second round. In total, Slipenko had three wins last year.
