WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has shared details about the restoration of the house where boxing coach Alexei Dzhunkovsky was killed.
According to the Ukrainian boxer, he will help restore the house of his former acquaintance.
“I randomly chose this house for inspection. When we arrived and saw how this house was destroyed, I was a little surprised.
In this house there is a boxing gym of my best friend. He and I are in the national team, we go to boxing competitions together. Aleksey Dzhunkovsky was shot by Russian soldiers in this very hall,” RFI quoted Usyk as saying.
Recall that Dzhunkovsky was shot by Russian invaders on March 28, 2022.
Earlier, Usyk spoke about his specific motivation for the rematch with Anthony Joshua.
