Fedor team fighter Valentin Moldavski told RB Sport he hopes for a quick win Fyodor Emelianenko in battle with ryan bader at Bellator 290.
The fight between Emelianenko and Bader will take place on February 4 in Inglewood (USA). The first meeting of the fighters, which took place in January 2019, ended with the victory of the American by knockout in the first round.
– Vadim Nemkov said that Fedor calmly fought five five-minute rounds. Camp went well?
– I think everything should be fine. These are fights, I can’t predict anything. But I hope that Fedor, due to the starting explosion and the strength in his hands, will finish the fight sooner than expected.
– On March 10, you will have a fight with Linton Wassel. What has changed in your training?
– After these fights where I went overworked, injuries often occurred. Two days before the fight with Bader, I got really sick. I began to charge more carefully, I monitor my condition in order to avoid such oversights, so as not to be overloaded. I am getting ready, but more wisely. There is no underestimation, there are no bad opponents at our level. Vassel is a very physically strong fighter, very enduring, much taller than me. In no case do I underestimate him, I prepare myself with full responsibility.
In total, Emelianenko has 40 wins and six losses in MMA, Bader has 30 wins and seven losses.
