The Ukrainian ex-world champion in three weight categories will face the American boxer.
Former three-division world champion Vasily Lomachenko will likely face undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney.
According to authoritative promoter Bob Arum, if the Ukrainian boxer wins, he will enter the ring against American athlete Shakur Stevenson.
“Shakur is now fighting for the status of an official contender. If Haney wins against Lomachenko, he will probably move up to light welterweight.
If Lomachenko wins, he’ll stay in the lightweight division and we’ll see his fight with Shakur Stevenson,” Boxing 247 quoted Arum as saying.
First of all, former undisputed world champion George Kambosos predicted the outcome of the fight between Lomachenko and Haney.
