A prominent promoter has confirmed Saul Alvarez’s desire to fight the Ukrainian world champion.
Eddie Hearn believes that Saul Alvarez will face Oleksandr Usyk in the future.
According to the well-known promoter, the Mexican boxer has previously expressed interest in a fight with the Ukrainian, and in the future such a fight may be arranged.
“I have never doubted that there is no one fighter that Alvarez has not fought. I think because of how much Canelo gives to boxing, because of the risks he takes, because of the fights in which he participated, he sincerely wants other champions to do the same and follow the same path.
In my opinion, fighters like David Benavidez need to make a name for themselves to have a fight with Canelo. Saul always said he would fight without any problem. After Usyk beat Joshua, I joked with him, and he said: “No problem, I’ll fight Usyk.” You might think he’s crazy, that he has no chance, but with all due respect, Canelo will actually fight Usyk at cruiserweight. He fought Bivol in the light heavyweight division. And he would have fought Benavidez at super middleweight without any problem,” Hearn is quoted as saying by the Mirror.
It can be remembered that at first in the team, the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF titles did not include that after Fury, Usyk would fight Alvarez and Mayweather.
