Fury: I care about the money I make, not Usyk’s words

The parties are still trying to agree on the date and place of the duel.

WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury stated that he was interested in the money he would earn for the fight with the WBA / WBO / IBO title holder in the division Oleksandr Usyk. The Briton does not pay attention to the attacks of the Ukrainian in his direction in social networks.

“I don’t think about it. In fact, the question is not what Usyk wants or what he does. Now the main thing is that this fight gets a date and a place. I don’t care what Usyk says, what he will do, how he will beat me or what he will tell me. It really matters where the fight takes place and how much money I make. Everything else I can do easily anyway.”

“It’s hard to say anything about the fight right now as I keep reading the news that the fight will be announced next week. I’m still looking forward to next week, but it seems like tomorrow will never come. Let’s see what happens next week.”

Earlier Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk said that the best time for the fight between the Ukrainian and Fury would be the end of April. Until the New Year, March 4 was considered the most effective date, but now the parties do not have time to prepare a battle for this time.

Promoter Bob Arum said that Usyk wants an equal distribution of income between the boxers in the unification fight with Fury. Arum also clarified that the organizers are waiting for proposals from representatives from the Middle East who wish to accept the fight.
