Former WBO and IBF world champion Damien Hooper will go on trial after being charged with robbery in Brisbane.
Police say Hooper, 30, robbed a man and “personally assaulted” him in July 2022.
The boxer is also expected to face four counts of breaking and entering residential premises, two of unlawfully using a car and intentionally causing damage, as well as charges of assault causing bodily harm, driving without a licence, obstructing the work of the police. , according to the Daily Mail.
