American Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) ryan bader said he was happy to be able to share the octagon twice with an athlete as tall as a Russian Fyodor Emelianenko .
On Sunday night, Emelianenko, 46, lost by first-round technical knockout to Bellator heavyweight champion American Ryan Bader in his last career fight. These rivals met in 2019 and the result was the same.
“I have a bittersweet feeling about this victory. I have the same attitude towards Fedor as all MMA fans. And now, first of all, give him his due, stand up and cheers. I just had to do my job today. I’m glad I had the chance to compete with Fedor twice, it’s not about defeating him, I don’t care at all, the fact is that I managed to share the cage with such a legend twice. I’m happy to have been a part of that story,” Bader said immediately after the fight.
In total, Emelianenko, 46, has 40 wins and seven losses in MMA, Bader, 39, has 31 wins and seven losses.
